Paul Weller heads into the forest next summer
Paul Weller is the first artist to sign up for the Forestry Commission's Forest Live concert programme, with summer dates for 2013 in spectacular woodland locations in East Anglia and the West Country.
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income from the concerts is spent on improving the woodland for both people and wildlife.
Having performed previously to capacity crowds in 2004 and 2009, Paul Weller said, 'It will be good for me to be back in the woods. I really enjoy the unique atmosphere of these gigs as do the fans.'
Paul Weller plus special guests will be performing:
Friday 12th July Thetford Forest, nr Brandon, Suffolk.
Saturday 20th July Westonbirt Arboretum, nr Tetbury, Glos.
