The Pogues give Fairytale of New York 25th anniversary release
One of the Christmas record that reappears every year, and just as Do They Know It's Christmas by Band Aid was announced the second biggest selling single of the last 60 years, is Fairytale of New York by the Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl.
The record is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and the band has announced that the record company is going to re-release the track in a variety of different formats.
Digital Bundle and & 7in vinyl with the new artwork
The digital Bundle will consist of the Master, instrumental and Video which will be @99p each or £1.49 for the bundle
The 7in will be realised in all good stores in the UK and US!
The digital Bundle version will be released 26th November 2012
The vinyl will be released on the 3rd of December 2012
In addition, the band will celebrate their 30th anniversary on Thursday, December 20 at London's O2 with special guests Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls.
