Pere Ubu reveals track from new album
Fire Records will be releasing the brand new album from post-punk legends Pere Ubu, Lady From Shanghai which is due out on Fire Records on 7 January.
The album ushers in a new era in the history of Pere Ubu, with David Thomas and band continuing to provoke and shock listeners, further establishing them as one of the most innovative, progressive and important bands of all time.
You can listen to "Free White" below, which is the second track on the album and outwardly bears obvious resemblance to the form and metrics of Dance Music but is internally just a little subversive - screwed up and utterly organic in terms of spacetime.
