AC/DC Stream ‘Play Ball’ + Unveil ‘Rock or Bust’ Details; Phil Rudd Sits Out Video Shoot

The AC/DC train keeps rolling toward the release of a new album! The latest teasers to get you to climb on board include a full release of the song ‘Play Ball’ from the band’s upcoming ‘Rock or Bust’ album, a new exploding gif showcasing the group’s 3D album artwork and the disc’s track listing.
‘Play Ball’ was recently teased in a trailer for TBS’ Major League Baseball playoff coverage, but now the song can be heard in full in the player provided above. As expected, it falls right into the band’s hard-driving, fist-pumping, foot-stomping wheelhouse with Brian Johnson‘s instantly recognizable vocals leaving no doubt as to who it is.
The band also released a ‘Rock or Bust’ gif showcasing the album’s artwork. It appears as though the artwork will be the AC/DC logo, but due to the gif imagery, you get to see that logo explode into rock fragments.

In other AC/DC news, the band recently took to a set in London to shoot a video for the album’s title track. According to the Fiddaman Blog, the band were introduced to fans in attendance, but unfortunately, drummer Phil Rudd had been called away at the last minute and Bob Richards of Shogun filled in behind the kit. The band also reportedly shot a video for ‘Play Ball,’ but it was done without the fans in attendance. Stay tuned for those videos coming soon.
AC/DC’s ‘Rock or Bust’ album is due Dec. 2 and you can already pre-order it and get an instant download of ‘Play Ball’ at iTunes. Check out the single above and peruse the track listing below.
