Madonna aids Sandy victims

Madonna added some star power to the Hurricane Sandy rescue effort in New York City on Monday.
The Sorry hitmaker arrived to Rockaway, Queens turning heads in a gorilla-faced hat.
While the ensemble made it difficult for the star to go unnoticed, fellow volunteers said they were surprised by her low-key demeanour.
'It's amazing how not a big deal this was. She had one bodyguard, and only a few people around,' volunteer Mark Winkel told the New York Daily News, adding, 'It was pretty cool seeing her there.'
The 54-year-old singer was accompanied by the museum curator Klaus Biesenbach.
The Museum of Modern Art director previously wrote a letter to New York City Mayor Bloomberg pushing for support in the area ravaged by the superstorm that made landfall on America's East Coast on October 29.
James Franco, Gwyneth Paltrow and Lady Gaga were among those who signed the letter.
Madonna is not the only star to personally lend her support to the community.
Newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were pictured in Far Rockaway on Saturday assisting volunteers.
