IL DIVO & Katherine Jenkins unite for tour
IL DIVO & Katherine Jenkins, the world's foremost classical crossover quartet & mezzo soprano, will unite for the very first time to perform together as part of their co-headline UK & European Tour in March & April, 2013.
Both artists have captivated millions around the world whilst at the forefront of a classical-crossover revolution in recent years. With over 30 million album sales between them, both Il Divo and Katherine have experienced stratospheric rises since their recording debuts in 2004. Whilst they have crossed paths at various musical events and TV shows, they have never actually taken to the public stage together.
This tour will see both artists perform with a full orchestra, their own unique classical interpretations of popular songs, whilst also dueting together for the very first time. The tour will see this phenomenal quartet- Carlos Marin, Sebastien Izambard, David Miller and Urs Buhler & stunning mezzo soprano - perform at leading venues across the UK and Europe.
Tickets for the UK Tour will go on sale Friday November 16 and exclusive VIP Meet & Greet ticket packages will be available at all shows. The final show of the UK Tour at London's 02 Arena will also host a very special Soundcheck and Q+A event involving both artists, including premium seating and hospitality.
UK fans can get a sneak preview of this much anticipated collaboration, by tuning into ITV1 early December for the "Steppin Out with Katherine Jenkins" TV special.
