World's largest electronica festival to soundtrack Late At Tate Britain event


Kalle B and Nicka Kirstejn, founders of Denmark's renowned electronica festival, Stella Polaris will be joined by leading Danish electronic music artists Mads Björn (live), Lulu Rouge, August and Løwenstein to provide Pre-Raphaelite inspired electronic sounds.

The world's largest electronica festival, Stella Polaris produces 4 summer events held across Denmark, featuring artists including Moby, Trentemoller, Tom Middleton, Groove Armada's Andy Cato, Ewan Pearson, LTJ Bukem, CafГ© Mambo's Pete Gooding and beyond. Outside of the summer months, Stella Polaris has curated events including the Danish National Gallery of Art's 'Night Music Gallery'.

An evening of collaborations, 7th December will see Stella Polaris bring its magical experience to the Tate's polished floors. Mads Björn, complete with his acoustic guitar and spartan soundtrack, will be joined by producer, August, and his low-level electronic sounds. Lulu Rouge, well known for their production work and remixes for Moby, Choir Of Young Believers and others, will perform a DJ set alongside Stella Polaris' resident DJ Løwenstein, Kalle B, and Nicka Kirstejn.

The event will also Include an Etsy craft fair, Miharayasuhiro's sensory interactive installation 'Ophelia Has A Dream', a literary portrait of Burne-Jones from Ruth Rosen, readings from a new play about Holman Hunt called The Scapegoat by Deborah Freeman and directed by Ariella Eshed, a response to William Morris's bed from artist David Mabb also selected scenes from Hamlet directed by Tony Middleton and a screening of live action film adaptation of Christina Rossetti's poem Goblin Market written and directed by Anna Blandford.
