Efterklang reveal live FM4 radio session
Taking a temporary break from performing with orchestras, the Danish trio of Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer and Rasmus Stolberg - known collectively as Efterklang - will begin a 30-date European tour this week in their 6-piece live guise.
For a glimpse of what to expect from the forthcoming tour, Efterklang have premiered a live performance filmed exclusively for Austrian radio station FM4.
In front of a select audience at the beautiful Radiokulturhaus concert hall in Vienna, Casper, Mads and Rasmus - joined on stage by Katinka Fogh Vindelev, Peter Broderick and Budgie (Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Creatures) - performed tracks from their latest album Piramida. Of the songs captured on camera, 'Between The Walls', 'Black Summer' and 'The Ghost' were selected for this special short film which can now be viewed below.
Efterklang will return to the UK in the new year and have just been announced as special guests of Foals at their Royal Albert Hall show on March 28th. A full list of shows can be found at the Efterklang website.
