Springsteen, Joel and Bon Jovi play at Sandy benefit


Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Joel were just three of the superstars who performed at the Hurricane Sandy benefit last night.

The one hour broadcast 'Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together' was broadcast on US TV hours ago commercial free.

The program also featured Sting, Christina Aguilera, Jimmy Fallon, Steven Tyler, Mary J. Blige, Tina Fey, Jon Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny DeVito and Matt Lauer.

Sting chose his Police classic 'Message In A Bottle' with the words 'Sending out an S.O.S.' resonating the sentiment of the show.

Bon Jovi chose 'Who Says You Can't Go Home' and 'Livin' On A Prayer', Christina performed 'You Are What You Are (Beautiful)', Steven Tyler and Jimmy Fallon sang 'Under The Boardwalk', then Joe Perry and Brad Whitford joined Tyler for the Aerosmith classic 'Dream On' and Billy Joel played 'Miami 2017' (Seen the lights go out on Broadway).

Bruce Springsteen ended the evening 'Land of Hope and Dreams'.
