Chad Valley streams debut album ahead of release
Young Hunger, the debut album from Chad Valley, is now streaming ahead of it's UK release date of November 19th on Loose Lips.
Inspired by the New Jack Swing movement, the productions of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, proto-boyband New Edition as well as classic British acts like Prefab Sprout and Thomas Dolby, Young Hunger is Chad Valley's - aka Hugo Manuel's - unique take on meticulously produced 80's pop.
Taking his first foray into a professional studio and working with a producer, Chad Valley has brought on board a raft of special guests - Twin Shadow, Glasser, El Perro Del Mar, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Active Child - to help realise his vision.
Fall 4 U feat. Glasser - premiered on Pitchfork - has had close to 120k plays on Soundlcoud and new single Tell All Your Friends is clocking up a hefty number of plays at Radio 1 ahead of it's release on November 19th.
Chad Valley's eponymous EP and follow up Equatorial Ultravox, showcased his extraordinary vocal talents and his flair for melody and production. On Young Hunger Chad Valley has raised the bar - 'I wanted to challenge myself with something new,' he says 'I always get quite restless. I wanted to recreate sounds, really get into the synthesis side of things.'
Chad Valley will be touring throughout November supporting Passion Pit and undertaking his own headlining shows.
