Eats Everything announces 11 date 'Vertigo' US tour
After an injury led to the postponement of his highly-anticipated tour in August, Eats Everything is back to complete his maiden-voyage to the US. The Bristollian is geared up to devour Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, New York and more, in support of his new EP for dirtybird, 'Vertigo,' beginning November 21.
In addition to his US tour and EP release, Eats will be joining the ranks of legendary Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, Swedish House Mafia's Axwell and others on IHeartRadio's new EDM station, Evolution, with a weekly radio show starting November 5.
Eats is at the forefront of the UK's new underground house music resurgence, gobbling up elements of UK bass, Detroit techno, jungle and early rave in his sets, while redefining the parameters of house music and showing dance floors all over the world, just what fun it can be to dance.
There are few greater sights to behold behind-the-decks than an Eats Everything DJ set. Far from a chin-stoking purist, Eats is a party monster, serving up fiery platters of dance music fun, crossing eras and genres with an anything goes approach that can't help but captivate a dance-floor.
Eats Everything also happens to be one of Bristol's pioneering new producers. The UK city is rich in musical history, having been the home of Massive Attack, Portishead, Propellerheads, DJ Die and of course Roni Size and Reprazent. Eats Everything and a new wave of producers and artists, including Julio Bashmore, Appleblim and Waifs & Strays are continuing this legacy today.
Eats Everything burst out of the traps with his gargantuan and suitably titled 'Entrance Song', which Pete Tong named his runner up for 2011's biggest tune of the summer. Eats' fun-loving personality, and bass heavy house, caught the ears of Claude Von Stroke who picked-up 'The Size' and Tric Trac' for his legendary Dirtybird label. Pete Tong promptly named 'The Size' his BBC Essential New Tune in October 2011.
Since then Dan has gone on to remix The Ting Tings, Jamie Jones, Totally Enourmous Extinct Dinosaur, We Have Band, Roy Davis Junior and Crazy P on a broad selection of labels including Get Physical, Shy FX's Digital Soundboy, Classic, PMR, FFRR and Leftroom and Sony/Deconstructed. Look out for Dan's upcoming November release, Slow For Me EP on Futureboogie.
