will.i.am pens new Obama song

will.i.am has written a new song to celebrate Barack Obama's re-election as President of the US.
The Black Eyed Peas star is a staunch supporter of Obama and backed his campaign to secure a second term in the White House. When Obama won his first presidential race in 2008, will.i.am wrote the track It's a New Day in tribute to the victory.
Now the music star has revealed he is releasing another song to celebrate Obama's triumph over Mitt Romney.
'In 2008 I wrote 'its a new day' 1week before @BarackObama won...and last week I wrote another victory song...it will be out in 1week (sic),' he wrote on his Twitter account.
will.i.am was on the guest list at Obama's election party at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago on Tuesday night.
Other famous faces in attendance included Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige and Melanie Griffith.
will.i.am was thrilled to personally congratulate the president before he took to the stage to deliver his acceptance speech.
'Thank you america...we are still on our path... All that travel, hard work and campaigning was worth it...and now its time to work even harder...,' he tweeted. 'I got to speak with the president backstage before this historic speech...my mom got me her...she is the greatest single mom ever... Thanks mama for raising me the way you did...from the ghetto to backstage 2012 @BarackObama re-elect (sic).'
