Rihanna wraps album

Rihanna has finished work on her new studio album, Unapologetic.

The Barbadian recording artist revealed the title of her latest musical offering last month and has already released first single Diamonds.

Now the 24-year-old has taken to her official Twitter page to let fans know her seventh studio album - which is scheduled to be released later this month ' is ready.

'Man my album is complete, and I need a f**king drink! It was quite the journey, but it's all part of our story! #UNAPOLOGETIC (sic),' she wrote.

The response from her followers was positive, with many stating they 'couldn't wait' to get their hands on the album.

Rihanna treated her fans to a preview of the Unapologetic cover last month, which features the star topless.

Numerous words are scrawled across the portrait, covering her modesty as she throws a smouldering glance at the camera.

It's rumoured the words could be titles of songs featured on the record.

Diamonds, which was released in September, has already topped the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hip Songs chart and won the approval of her many fans.

Rihanna will embark on a Diamonds World Tour in March 2013 to support the release of her new album.
