The Hackney-born singer/songwriter has enjoyed chart success with songs 'Let the Sun Shine', 'Earthquake' and 'Last Time', and his debut album 'Electronic Earth' shot to No.2 in the UK Albums Chart this April. This summer he's rocked stages at BBC Hackney Weekend, Wireless, Global Gathering and Parklife and he sold out his debut UK tour earlier this year. As a producer he's worked with artists including Tinie Tempah, Ms Dynamite, Wretch 32, Devlin, Gorillaz and Emeli Sandé.
'Beneath Your Beautiful', his current single and out this week, is a duet with Emeli. This performance for Bands In Transit with Ford sees him stripping the track back to the bare essentials, in the technicolour surroundings of London's Container City, and proving his talent for songwriting is major league.
Rizzle Kicks, Ed Sheeran, Josh Kumra, Mystery Jets, Maverick Sabre, Michael Kiwanuka, Alex Clare, Bombay Bicycle Club, and dozens more, have all already jumped in the back of the van and performed their best tracks acoustically for Bands In Transit with Ford.
