Eminem 'announces new album for 2013'



The Lose Yourself rapper announced the news when an 'Eminem tribute baseball cap' went on sale on Monday through his online store, the New York Daily News reports.Eminem has hinted at a 2013 release for his first album since 2010's Recovery.
The headgear was made in honour of Eminem's hometown baseball team the Detriot Tigers, who lost the World Series to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday night.
It's modeled after the team's blue-and-white baseball caps, and features a backwards E in the same font as the Tigers' trademark D.
The words 'world champion' are scrawled on the side, above the dates of the Grammy-winner's previous releases.
The dates include: 1996 (Infinite), 1998, (The Slim Shady LP), 2000 (The Marshall Mathers LP), 2002 (The Eminem Show), 2004 (Encore), 2009 (Relapse), 2010 (Recovery) and 2013.
The latter is believed to be the release date of Eminem's eighth solo album.
The 40-year-old star, real name Marshall Mathers, hinted in August new work would be coming from him soon.
'I've actually kinda just started [on a new album]. I've been on the move a little bit too, so I've in between things, sneak songs in here and there,' he told MTV News.
