Bon Jovi to headline hurricane concert

Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen are headlining a concert for the victims of Hurricane Sandy tomorrow.
NBC Universal's TV networks, including NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, E!, Style Network and G4 will air the charity gig featuring artists who are connected to the areas hit by the devastating storm.
New Jersey natives Jon and Bruce, native New Yorker Billy Joel, New York City resident Sting and Christina Aguilera, a coach on NBC's The Voice, are all set to perform.
'Today's Matt Lauer, who revealed plans for the commercial-free concert on the air this morning, will host. NBC talent Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon will appear as well. Proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross, which is providing food, shelter, and other assistance to those affected by the hurricane,' Inside TV reports.
Titled Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, the special will air at 8pm ET and stream live on NBC.com.
Jon was personally affected by the natural disaster when his family got stranded in flooded New York.
The rocker cancelled a promotional tour of the UK to rush to the side of his wife Dorothea and their four children.
'There is no power, water, the devastation is off the charts. The president is in my hometown in New Jersey because of the damage. It's like Armageddon,' Jon said.
