Eugene McGuinness releases 'Sugarplum'

Eugene McGuinness will release new single 'Sugarplum' on December 10th following a string of UK dates which will include a show at London's much-loved 100 Club on November 14th. Eugene also performed 'Sugarplum' on the first episode of Gordon Smart's music show This Feeling, which can currently be watched via The Sun's website HERE.

Taken from the album The Invitation to the Voyage which is out now, 'Sugarplum' is an ode to the spontaneity of youth and those moments of happiness and freedom that come far too infrequently. Maintaining McGuinness' trademark left-of-centre lyricism, 'Sugarplum' is both honest and overtly romantic. Darker and sharper with an electro-pop centre, the track bursts into a shimmering chorus securing its place as one of the album's highlights.

Eugene McGuinness will also be playing four dates around the UK next week following an incredible reception in France which included performances on popular music shows Taratata and Album De La Semaine.
