Ringo Starr All Starrs to play their own hits
The setlist for the Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band Australian tour will not only be The Beatles and Ringo solo hits but also the hits of the various members of his All Starr Band.
Ringo's All Star Band features members of Toto, Santana and Mr Mister as well as Todd Rundgren and they all perform each other's hits in the Ringo set.
Songs performed this year by the All-Starr Band include Todd Rundgren's 'I Saw The Light', Toto's 'Hold The Line', Mr Mister's 'Broken Wings and Santana's 'Black Magic Woman'.
Ringo also performs his Beatles songs such as 'Yellow Submarine', 'With A Little Help From My Friends', 'I Wanna Be Your Man', 'Matchbox', 'Boys' and 'Act Naturally' as well as his solo hits 'It Don't Come Easy', 'Photograph' and 'I'm The Greatest'.
'The tour this summer was just GREAT ' I love playing with this band and I can't wait to get back out and play with them again,' Ringo said. 'I am looking forward to revisiting Japan with the All Starrs and of course New Zealand and Australia. Peace & Love!'
Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will tour Australia for the first time ever in February 2013. The last time Ringo performed in Australia was with The Beatles in 1964.
